About the Speaker
Igor Gräzin has been an MP in the Estonian Parliament between and 1995-1999, and again from 2005, as a member of the Reform Party/Liberals. Previously, he was a member of the last Supreme Soviet of the USSR, until its dissolution. He is a Senior Fellow of the International Strategic Studies Association (Alexandria, VA, USA).
Born in Tartu, Estonia, in 1952 he has received doctorates in law and philosophy. He now holds professorships at Tartu University and University of Notre Dame, USA. Igor has published widely, and has written screenplays for documentary films about World War II. He is a member of the Board of Estonian Broadcasting Corporation, and National Library.
